Long overdue, but we still wanted to congratulate several of our members for tests done in November:

Abigail (6th kyu), Glen (5th kyu), Mateo (5th kyu), Tamsin (4th kyu), Francis (4th kyu), Micah (4th kyu), Mike (2nd kyu), Stoyan (1st kyu), Ali (1st kyu) and Ted (1st kyu).

The tests were amazing and we are really happy with everyone's effort and performance!

Unfortunately, we don't have pictures of all the tests, but here are two pictures of the certificate ceremonies:

Special congratulation to Jolanta Sensei for her promotion to 4th Dan!

What is Aikido?

"The Way of the Harmony" was founded by Morihei Ueshiba in early 20th century Japan. Aikido is a non-competitive martial art that aspires to defend the student while simultaneously protecting the attacker from injury. It does not rely on strength or body size to be effective.
